Steve Jobs is now buried at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto, California. Steve Jobs, 56, passed away Wednesday, October 5 of 3 pm of respiratory arrest. He suffered from a ‘metastatic pancreas neuroendocrine tumor,’ first diagnosed five years ago.

Osama Bin Laden Killed

After 10 years with the collapsed of the Twin Towers due to the terrorist attack from Osama bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader was found and killed at a fortified compound on the outskirts of Abbottabad in north-west Pakistan. The operation began at about 1730 GMT and lasted about 45 minutes.

Apple Unveiling New Products On September 1

Apple has sent a guitar designed invitation to the media, inviting them to attend the new products announcement event. The media centric event will happen tomorrow on September 1 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater, Sans Fransisco.

What will Apple announce? It has to be the new iPod Touch, new iPod Nano with touch screen instead of click wheel, rebranded iTV previously Apple TV, 99¢ TV rentals, iTunes Cloud, longer music sample time (90s) on iTunes, and 7 inch iPad.

Steve Jobs was said to take sick leave from a rare form of pancreatic cancer, but the CEO of Apple remains closely involved in business decisions and key aspects of running the company. This includes work towards the iPhone OS 3.0 and a netbook/tablet device which is larger than the iPhone but smaller than a MacBook.

The actual swearing in ceremony takes place at 12:00pm EST and will last for two hours. Here are some of the online options listed by Lifehacker, for a full list go straight to their website.

  • Live Senate Feed : from the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies’ official site.
  • NBC/CBS/ABC : The Big Three are all in online with free streaming coverage.
  • CNN/Facebook: CNN.com and Facebook team up to offer a live inauguration feed.
  • Twitter/Current: Current doing the streaming at 11:30 a.m. EST and micro-blogging platform Twitter providing real-time tweets/updates.
