The Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) has admitted its mistake in asserting that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035. The unsubstantiated Himalayan glacier melt figures were used intentionally despite the report’s lead author knowing there were no data to back them up.
