Apple’s Steve Jobs Returns To Introduce New iPods And iTunes

Apple CEO Steve Jobs officially ends his sick leave and put himself on stage at the 2009 Apple Music Event introducing new iPods and iTunes 9. Steve delivered the keynote speech announcing several upgrades to the iTunes service, as well as a new line of video-recording iPod Nanos.
Here are the features:
- iTunes 9 – added genius bar to App Store, ring tones and iTunes LP.
- iPod Nanos – added video recording capabilities, FM radio, and pedometer that synchs with the Nike Plus system.
The new Nanos will retail at $160 for the 8 GB model and $180 for the 16 GB model.
Apple’s Music Event Unveiling Soon

Apple’s annual music event is almost upon us. The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco at 10:00 am on September 9, 2009.
There will probably new information on new iTunes 9, iPods and iPod Touch with camera, Cocktail Album and more. Will Steve Jobs speak in the event? And will he reveal the Apple tablet?
Nokia Touchscreen X6 Phones

Nokia releases a music touchscreen phone, X6, a follow up model to the 5800 model. The phone is powered by Symbian S60, and it comes with 5-megapixel with dual LED flash, 32 GB of built-in memory, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel camera, and GPS. The X6 integrates with Facebook.
The X6 will retail at $640 and available in 2010.

Apple will hold the annual music event in September 9 with the main focus on music. Therefore no announcement of Apple’s tablet or Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

Microsoft Finally Show Off Zune HD

As we have reported previously on the leaked details of Zune HD and now it is all confirmed by the press release from Microsoft. The new device will have a 3.3 inch OLED touch-screen, multi-touch technology, built-in accelerometer, web browser, HD radio tuner, Wi-Fi, an NVIDIA Tegra processor and HDMI out port.
Zune HD will be released September 15. The 16GB will cost $220 and the 32Gb cost $290. You can get the either the black or platinum version.

Microsoft Zune HD Out In September 15

Amazon has shown the prices of the new Zune HD and now we have leaked photos too. As you can see from the marketing material, the launch date is September 15.
Amazon is selling the 16GB black model for $220; and the 32GB version, in platinum, for $290.

Microsoft Reveals Zune HD

Microsoft has official show off the new portable media device, Zune HD. The new device will have a 3.3 inch OLED touch-screen, multi-touch technology, built-in accelerometer, web browser, HD radio tuner, Wi-Fi, an NVIDIA Tegra processor and rumoured to have HDMI out port.
Microsoft Unveils Zune HD

Microsoft has now officially confirmed the existence of Zune HD. It will be a multi-touch media player/Internet device which Microsoft will try to compete with Apple’s iPod Touch. Will it be also a gaming device? We think so, when the Zune Marketplace is incorporated into Microsoft’s Xbox Live Video marketplace.
Zune HD will feature:
- Zune HD comes with a built-in HD Radio receiver so users can listen to higher-quality sound than traditional radio on the go. Users also will have access to the additional song and artist data broadcast by HD Radio stations as well as additional channels from their favorite stations multicasting in HD. If you don’t like the song playing on your station’s HD channel, switch to its HD2 or HD3 channels for additional programming.
- The bright OLED touch screen interface allows users to flip through music, movies and other content with ease, and the 16:9 widescreen format display (480×272 resolution) offers a premium viewing experience on the go.
- The HD-compatible output lets Zune HD customers playback supported HD video files from the device through a premium high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) audiovisual docking station (sold separately) direct to an HD TV in 720p.*
- Zune HD will include a full-screen Internet browser optimized for multitouch functionality.
- Zune HD is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing for instant streaming to the device from the more than 5 million-track Zune music store.
