Amazon Reveals Kindle 3
Amazon is releasing the latest updated graphite coloured Kindle 3 for $139. Not sure how this is going to compete with Apple iPad, Amazon is still using a non colour LCD screen. The price of the new e-reader will be $139 for a Wi-Fi version and $189 for a model with both 3G and Wi-Fi.

Some more specs and details here – http://blogkindle.com/2010/07/kindle-3-released/. With devices such as Kindle starting at $139 eBooks should become mainstream really soon. Personally I don’t see why wouldn’t anyone add extra $50 to get free 3G. It makes the device so much more usable.
