The snows of Kilimanjaro are melting really fast and will be gone by 2033 as predicted by a new research done by Ohio State University’s paleoclimatologist Lonnie Thompson.

Thompson said, The fact that so many glaciers throughout the tropics and subtropics are showing similar responses suggests an underlying common cause. The increase of Earth’s near surface temperatures, coupled with even greater increases in the mid- to upper-tropical troposphere, as documented in recent decades, would at least partially explain.

    Mount Kilimanjaro looks so beautiful with the glaciers on top. The mountain will never be the same again without the ice…
    I think to solve the global warming problem, it must be stormed at the national and international levels.But the total success is built upon the action of every individual, regardless of nationality, to conserve energy and live in a greener, cleaner community.
