The Philips Brilliance LCD computer display has a built-in infrared “PowerSensor” that can detect people in front. This is a first for a desktop monitor which is an energy saving feature. The screen will dim by 50% if you are not in front of it.

HTC has revealed Hero, an Android phone which support for Flash 9 and the new HTC Sense user interface. Apple have not included Flash in the latest OS 3.0 due to limitations of Apple’s iPhone SDK and its associated license. Check out the video.

Tubingen University scientists in Germany have discovered 35,000 years old flutes which indicates that humans in Europe had established a complex and creative culture. The three flutes were found found in the Hohle Fels cavern in southwest Germany. The flutes were assembled from 12 pieces of griffon vulture bone.

Archaeologist Nicholas Conard said, It’s unambiguously the oldest instrument in the world.
