Over at E3 2012, Nintendo has unwrapped the new Wii U console and MiiVerse social network for players.
The Wii U is a tablet-sized controller with a 6.2-inch touch screen with an independent infrared TV remote. Players use the the touch screen to scroll through posts and compose their own comments, using a stylus to draw pictures or a virtual keyboard to type.
