Russia has banned sales of Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3 and XBox 360, because it contains a scene in which civilians are massacred at a Moscow airport terrorist attack. Infinity Ward is working on a patch that would remove that particular mission from the game.

Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 rakes in $310M in one day of sales in the North America and the United Kingdom. PC gamers have been whinging (complaining) that they are not getting dedicated servers with this new game. This has not slow down sale whatsoever.

It is the biggest-selling launch in the history of entertainment.
