It is now officially confirmed that Sony will beat Microsoft to reveal the next generation Playstation 4 on February 20 in New York City. These are all the rumoured features: DVR-like recording capabilities, new dualshock controller with PlayStation Vita-style touchpad, 1.84 terflops of computing power, eight-core processors and support Blu-ray playback.

Industry sources indicated that Sony and Microsoft is holding back in releasing new consoles, PS4 and XBox 720, until 2014. While Nintendo is going to pushed out their next generation console, Wii 2 this June. Sony is rumoured to ditched the DualShock controller for new features like a touchscreen and biometric sensors.
