Artificial Tornado Inside Mercedez-Benz Museum

Check out the video showing the strongest 34.4 meter high artificial tornado ever built inside Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart Germany. The tornado is powered by 144 jets and capable of moving 28 tons of air designed to clear smoke from the building.

   SOLAR CHIMNEY PROJECTS

   SOLAR CHIMNEYS OR VORTEX TOWERS ?

   Please, be aware of the great difference between simple solar chimneys and vortex towers or vortex engines.
   Inside all chimneys of the World, the hot air (heated by the fireplace or by the sun), goes up. The stream can be important if the air is very hot and the chimney very high, but never strong enough to produce a great quantity of energy.
   In the nature or at the TV, everybody has seen those small hurricanes in deserts or hot flat open country and we know that the energy of those storms or “dust devils” can be strong enough to destroy a house.
   Now, is it possible to use this storm energy ?
   Until now nobody could believe it.
   But for two scientists, the answer is yes. And the energy produced has nothing to do with the small energy produced in a solar chimney. The atmospheric Vortex Solar Tower (300m high – rotational flow whirling system technology), produce 5 time more energy (1000 MW) than the Solar Chimney (1000m high) which produce only a maximum of 200 MW (single flow upwind system technology).
   The first scientist is French and made his proposal in 1956. He is dead now, and nobody remember his astonishing project (see French patent N°1.439.849 – P.V. 983.953 dated 3rd of august 1964 in Paris and French patent N° 8.205.544 – publication number 2.524.530 dated 31st march 1982).

   Until now, nobody has been able to build the tower big enough (not so big than the huge Australian solar chimney) to produce this small hurricane, but all simulations and data processing calculations done by Michaud and a French company SUMATEL, confirm that the power produced by a big tower (300m) can be higher than the power of a nuclear power plant.
   As far as oil is so expensive and nuclear plants so dangerous, all informed people don’t understand why first trials have still not been done.
   That is probably the reason why European Commission is interested by the French project.
