Aaron Swartz, Reddit Founder And Internet Activists Commits Suicide
Aaron Swartz 26, an online activist, co-creator of RSS and founder of Rddit who was facing federal hacking charges, reportedly committed suicide.
He was charged with stealing millions of scientific journals from a computer archive at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in an attempt to make them freely available. His family blamed MIT for killing him. His death was confirmed by his uncle Michael Wolf to The Tech, the student newspaper of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
