It is possible that many computer users could lose access to the Internet on July 9 due to the DNS Changer malware. The FBI responded with a safety net using government computers to prevent online disruptions. This malware is known to be infecting 300,000 computers worldwide.  Due to the FBI shutting down its temporary Domain Name System servers, users infected of the malware will be shut off from the internet.
