Yahoo To Lay Off 700 Staff
Yahoo has been loosing advertising revenues which resulted in profit falling by 78%. The online company will let go 700 staff from specific business units.
This is what came out of CEO Bartz’s mouth, We have engineers almost in every country, and we have way too many product people…We had one product management person for every three engineers. There were a lot of people running around telling engineers what to do, but nobody was [expletive] doing anything.

Jerry Yang has a face like a caved-in volcano. When I met him I was so repulsed I barfed in his face. This actually was an improvement as the barf covered up his ugly mug. So, boo hoo hoo, Yahoo — bleed purple! Revenues fell 78% in the first quarter– that’s nothing compared to the beating Yahoo will take for the rest of the year! Davey

Personally, I would much rather be Jerry Yang than Mike Masnick of Techdirt. There is a rumor going around that Mike has only one of (ahem) what he is supposed to have two of. This rumor has been confirmed by several ladies so I suspect it may be true. Has anyone heard anything about this? I would really like to get this straight because so many people have asked me if it is true or not.
