Palm’s launch announcement that Palm Pre is able to sync with Apple’s iTunes is now over. The latest upgrade to Apple’s iTunes software version 9 update no longer recognizes the Pre as if it were an iPod.
Palm previously update WebOS to circumvent Apple’s blocking method by identifying the Pre as a mass storage device manufactured by Apple.
