The BBC will update their iPlayer app on iPhone and iPad with free download shows and offline viewing. The app will only let users download shows over WiFi for now. This app will be available for Android devices soon.
Once a program is downloaded, a user has 30 days to start viewing and seven days to finish after the media file is first opened.
