Not to be outdone by Apple’s iPad Mini event, Google is holding their own event next Friday, October 29, in New York. This is also the same date that Microsoft will launch Windows Phone 8 across the country in San Francisco. The tagline “The playground is open” hints that the event may have something to do with Nexus smartphone. Google will be live streaming the event on YouTube.
