Google Reveals New 3D Map After Apple Dropping Google Map On iOS 6
We all know and it is no longer a rumour that the next iOS 6, Apple will drop Google Map from
all their mobile devices. This sent Google into a panic mode to rush out Google’s new 3D map
before Apple’s WDDC 2012 conference next week.
During a demo, Peter Birch, a Google Earth product manager, demoed the up coming Google Earth update that showed a 3-D model of San Francisco on an iPad. Why not use a Android tablet? A sign that Google is in panic mode in rushing out this announcement.
