Legal Unlocking Ends Tonight In US

Back in 2010 The Librarian of Congress allowed unlocking of smartphones, but those rulings are reviewed every three years and in 2012 there was a change where US citizens were given three months to lock to a smartphone. And the time runs out tonight.

Unlocking a phone to use it with another carrier will be illegal in the USA from midnight tonight unless the smartphone is already in your hands.
