Palm Pre Is Good But Cannot Compete With iPhone

The reviews are in for the upcoming Palm Pre. In summary, Palm Pre is said to be a good mobile device but it will still need lots of work before even getting close to Apple’s iPhone.
From Reuters, The device seemed to live up to some expectations but fall short on others….
From PC World, The long-awaited Palm Pre lives up to the hype with a responsive touchscreen and an engaging interface, but a few hardware design flaws keep it from being the perfect smartphone.
When Apple release iPhone OS 3.0 in the next few days, the iPhone will also have features of Palm Pre like the Cut, Copy, Paste functionality, push notification and also MMS.

I’m not so sure you’ve interpreted the reviews correctly. Most reviews are glowingly positive, with assertions that the Pre is actually better than the iPhone in many ways:

So to say that it “doesn’t even come close” is a bit rich don’t you think?
