Samsung To Apple Over iPhone 5 LTE Feature
Samsung will be targeting Apple when the iPhone 5 is announced next week. Samsung will take immediate legal action against Apple, for releasing iPhone 5 which has LTE feature. Samsung has the LTE patent.
Previously, a Tokyo court has dismissed Apple’s claim that Samsung had infringed on its patent. This is a big win for Samsung after loosing $1,049,393,540.00 billion in damages to Apple in US court.
Samsung released a statement after the win against Apple:
We will continue to offer highly innovative products to consumers, and continue our contributions toward the mobile industry’s development
A week ago, US jury found that some of Samsung’s products illegally copied features and designs of Apple’s iPhone and iPad. Jobs did say that “I am going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go to thermonuclear war on this.” wich was publish in Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs.
