Scientists from David R. Smith’s lab at Duke University are moving closer to creating a real cloak of invisibility. Cloaking device has been fascinated by humans and can be seen on Star Trek, Ghost in the Shell and Harry Potter.

The device is made from a light-bending composite material called metamaterials that can operate over a band of electromagnetic waves around an object and reconnect them on the other side. From the journal abstract: The cloak decreased scattering from the hidden object while at the same time reducing its shadow, so that the cloak and object combined began to resemble empty space.

imagine when you go bath and someone using that fucking cloak with handycam on his other hand, recording you when you in nude, then upload it to youtube

what will happend if it is not only you, but all of your family? it is funny, eh?

The cloak will more then likely be used for aircraft and soldiers NOT for public use. Further more if you were trying to protect something from harmful rays from the sun on satellites or shuttles you could use this cloak as a shield to reduce surface temps greatly! So I wouldn’t worry about a peeping toms…

Travis, I doubt it’s photoshopped because it is not astounding enough to attract enough people to make the fraud worth the trouble.
