Apple Wants You To Install Antivirus Software

One of Apple’s marketing mantra is about Mac not needing Antivirus software. So it is ironic that Apple is now asking users to intall Antivirus software on a Mac. From a recent Apple tech notes, Apple encourages the widespread use of multiple antivirus utilities so that virus programmers have more than one application to circumvent, thus making the whole virus writing process more difficult.
