Sony Shrinks Blu-ray Lasers

Blu-ray DVD has almost overtaken HD DVD and now this would put a nail on the HD DVD camp. Sony has shrunk the diode used to produce blue laser. Meaning smaller drives and cheaper disc production. This would bring down the cost of Blu-ray discs and drives/players.
