Apple iSlate Tablet Shipping In March
WSJ reported that the Apple iSlate will ship in March for $1000 after a January announcement. Apple is planning a major product announcement for Wednesday, January 27th
Apple Inc. plans to unveil a new multimedia tablet device later this month, but doesn’t plan on shipping the product until March, people briefed by the company said.
From Computerworld: We expect the tablet hardware to be similar to an iPod touch but larger (about 10″); we expect the key differentiator of the device to be its software. Our connect [sic] said there is 100% [chance] a 73 Apple tablet, to be announced in January.
