India’s $35 Android Tablet

Only a few days ago Amazon announced a cheaper Kindle Fire tablet to the Apple iPad. Now India has unveiled a $35 tablet running on Android OS. It is called the Aakash tablet and will feature a 7-inch touch screen, Android 2.2 OS, a pair of USB ports, and 256 megabytes of RAM. The Aakash will be ideal for the rural poor.

    this is gr8 news. this device will fill a big gap that existed in urban and rural india.
