Samsung should be happy to know that the temporary sales ban on Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in the US has been lifted by a US court. The ban was put in place after Apple claimed the device infringed its intellectual property.

The jury found that Samsung had not violated Apple’s patent that was the basis for the ban on the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The WiFi-only 16Gb Honeycomb tablet will sell for $499 and the32Gb model will sell for $599. This version will feature Android version 3.1 Honeycomb, 2 cameras, TouchWiz UX, Samsung’s Media Hub and additional capabilities when the tablet’s connected to a TV via a dock or adapter.
