PS3 Bioshock Coming October 21

2K Games has announced that Bioshock will be available in the US on the 21st of October and the game will release world wide on the 24th of October. New features include Survivor difficulty mode, trophy support, new content add on and Challenge Rooms.
PS3 Will Get BioShock

It is now official that award winning XBox 360 game, BioShock, will now also go to Sony’s PS3. The game will be available in October. And there will be new features and content. Could this be multiplayer addition where you can be Big Daddy? Full press release after the jump.
Bioshock Receives 12 Awards Nominations

Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) has given Bioshock 12 nominations for the 11th annual Interactive Achievement Awards.
President of AIAS, Joseph Olin said “This year’s finalists reflect the pledge game makers have to make gripping, engaging and exhilarating experiences for the expanding game playing audience. The 2008 nominees represent the tremendous talent and passion that our members bring to their craft. The Interactive Achievement Awards are dedicated to acknowledging the men and women who create these innovative and excellent games.”
Bioshock Patch Next Week

The Cult of Rapture has posted an update regarding the status of the XBox 360 and PC patch for Bioshock. It is scheduled to appear for your PC and Xbox 360 next week.
From Cult of Rapture, “Both the BioShock PC Patch and the 360 Title Update will be available next week. In addition to these fixes, we will be releasing downloadable content free on both Xbox Live and for the PC, with the DLC bundled into the PC Patch. A full list of bug fixes and everything included in the DLC will be put up on the Cult of Rapture when the downloads become available.”
So what is in the patch?…new plasmids, proper widescreen setting for XBox 360, etc…
