Psy’s NongShim Noodles Contained Carcinogens
Nongshim is the South Koren food processing company famous for their Nongshim Ramyun noodles. Psy recently taken the model role for the company. Health officials from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China have discovered carcinogens in 5 out of 6 of their noodle products. And they are now being recalled from shops.
The recall would affect six of the company’s products, including Neoguri, bowl-type Neoguri and Sang Sang Noodles, which were found to contain benzopyrene, a compound that can cause lung cancer.
Benzopyrene is known to cause stomach and lung cancer or birth defects if consumed for a long period.
