Google’s Marissa Mayer Jump Ship To Yahoo As CEO
Yahoo has appointed Google executive Marissa Mayer to be its next CEO. Marissa has been a long time Google Web-search executive and helped design the look of the now-dominant search engine. Mayer becomes Yahoo’s sixth CEO in five years. She has a computer-science master’s degree from Stanford University.
Google Names Larry Page New CEO
Google co-founder Larry Page has now step up to be the new CEO of Google replacing Eric Schmidt.
Eric Schmidt will become Executive Chairman focused on deals, partnerships, customers and broader business relationships, government outreach and technology thought leadership. While the other co-founder, Sergey Brin will take a more active role in strategic projects including product.
