Customer Survey Gave Apple Good Score But Dell Is Very Bad

According to a customer experience survey released by Forrester Research, Apple scored quite good while PC manufacturers scored badly. Dell flunked with a poor 58% rating overall and a very poor 47% in enjoyability. And the blame for such a poor score goes partly to Microsoft’s Windows software. HP, Compaq and Gateway scored between between 63% and 66%.
Looks like Microsoft’s ad targeting Apple did nothing to improve customer experience.
Dell VP Criticises Apple’s Green Initiatives

Dell VP Bob Pearson criticises Apple for its MacBook “Greenest Family of Notebooks” ads. He said on his blog post:
Several Dell folks were surprised and perplexed to see Apple’s new “green” MacBook ad since its release last month and we’ve been watching the discussions in the blogosphere. After chatting with our environmental teams about the topic, we realized that instead of ignoring it, we should have a conversation about the real meaning of being green from the viewpoint of a Fortune 500 company.
Dell should focus more on their product than criticising Apple’s effort in environmentally-focused MacBook ads.
