XBox 360 Motion System Kinect Will Cost $150
Microsoft will be selling their motion control system, Kinect, for $150 this October. The official price might be less than that. Kinect will go head to head with PS3 Move.
The new device will be equipped with technology that is “really, really, close” to an actuality. The console, which was described as having a “natural interface,” will have a built in camera with the ability to recognize movement and voice. Unlike other consoles, the system will not need any controller.
Microsoft might be showing a line up of Natal games: River Rush, Ricochet, Living Statue, and Obstacle Course.
XBox 360 Motion System Natal Rebranded As Kinect
Microsoft has previewed the Project Natal “experience” event on June 13 and the motion control system is now called Kinect. The device will launch this October for $149. It is rumored that Microsoft will release a slim version of the XBox 360.

Wii MotionPlus For Next Zelda

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that the next Zelda game for the Wii will use the new Wii MotionPlus. The new Legend of Zelda game will be out in 2010.
Nintendo Wii MotionPlus will be on sale on June 8 for $19.99. Wii Sports Resort will be released on July 26 bundled with the Wii MotionPlus add-on for $49.99.
The Wii MotionPlus is a hardware add-on for the Wii-mote controller that attaches to the bottom of the controller and enhances the controller’s ability to reflect motions more accurately. How you move will translate to the screen accurately. Wii Sports Resort works with the Wii MotionPlus accessory with games such as Sword Play, Power Cruising, and Disc Dog.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 For Wii
Nintendo has announced Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii at E3. The new game will be available in 2010. The company also has announced a new 2D Mario game called New Super Mario Bros.
Nintendo Reveals Wii Fit Plus
Nintendo has show off the new Wii Fit Plus at E3, which includes the new Wii Vitality Sensor that will take the player’s pulse. The Wii Fit Plus will come with new exercises and games and it is due this fall.
Sony Unveils Motion Controller for PS3

This year E3 seems to be about imitating the Wii with Microsoft’s Project Natal and now Sony’s PS3 will also have a motion controller by 2010. It is called the PlayStation Motion Controller which works in conjunction with the PlayStation Eye. At the moment it is only a prototype shown at E3, a device that looks like a microphone. From the demo, it looks like the PlayStation Motion Controller is very precise.
Metal Gear Solid Rising
Hideo Kojima came on Microsoft’s E3 2009 press briefing and announced that the next Metal Gear Solid will be on XBox 360 other than the PS3 and PC. The new game is called Metal Gear Solid Rising.
Alan Wake Shown at E3 2009
Alan Wake game has been flagged as vapourware just like Duke Nukem 3D. But there is a resurgence of interest as the new Alan Wake trailer is shown at E3 2009. Alan Wake is billed as a “psychological action thriller” and is due for release on Xbox 360 and PC in Spring 2010.
