BlueBeat Sued Over Beatles Tracks

A federal court in Los Angeles this week stopped BlueBeat from selling Beatles tracks the company has created using “psycho-acoustic simulation”. BlueBeat CEO Hank Risan recreated and copyrighted the Beatles tracks. EMI claims the company have infringed on songs from The Beach Boys, Coldplay and Lily Allen.

Hank Risan said the psycho-acoustic simulation is a synthetic creation of that series of sounds which best expresses the way he believe a particular melody should be heard as a live performance. What is he talking about?
