1UP (91/100): Like Mass Effect 2, FFXIII seems to be an attempt to answer the question of how to create an RPG for the modern, console-owning masses. Square Enix’s solution is certainly different than BioWare’s, but it’s arguably just as effective in its own way.
GameSpy (90/100): Thank goodness for the battle system, then, because it saves the game while you’re wincing through the saccharine banter and waiting for the training wheels to spin off.
GameSpot (85/100): The most beautiful Final Fantasy game yet is an imperfect but still impressive saga that will touch your heart.
IGN AU (84/100): It’s a massive game with a ridiculous amount of content. That said, bigger isn’t necessarily better. A slightly shorter game with a more unified design might have worked better.
Eurogamer (80/100): Final Fantasy XIII’s is a superb system overall, easily making up what depth it has lost in speed, tactical cunning and moment-to-moment engagement. Some have bemoaned the apparent retreat from XII’s daring reinvention -- I did myself, at first -- but in its way XIII is just as big a step for the party RPG, albeit a simpler and perhaps more palatable one.

Final Fantasy XIII Reached 2 Million Sales In Japan
Square-Enix had shipped 2 million copies of the long overdue and highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIII after four days of sale in Japan. In Japan, the RPG is exclusive to PS3.
Square Enix has announced that the long overdue Final Fantasy XIII will be released in the US and Europe on March 9, 2010. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game would feature a new theme song — “My Hands”.

Final Fantasy XIII Demo Outside Of Japan
Square Enix is considering offering the Final Fantasy XIII demo outside of Japan. The demo is a success for the PS3 after it was released with the anime Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete.
The delay is due to the company having to create two version of the demo for the PS3 and XBox 360. Stay tune for more news later.
Final Fantasy XIII Out Winter 2009 In Japan
Playstation 3 (PS3) exclusive much delayed Square Enix game, Final Fantasy XIII will be out in Japan this winter. If you are in Japan, you can pick up Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete blu-ray movie which includes the demo for Final Fantasy XIII.
