Mothers Call For GTA IV Ban

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) demand for more severe restrictions on GTA IV rating, in order to prevent in-game behavior to transpose into real life for reckless kids.

From MADD website: “Each year nearly 13,500 people die in drunk driving crashes and another half a million are injured in alcohol-related traffic crashes. This is why MADD is extremely disappointed by the decision of the manufacturers of the game Grand Theft Auto IV to include a game module where players can drive drunk.”.

Grand Theft Auto IV is the next money making franchise from RockStar. The story goes something like this. As Roman and Niko slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream in a city that worships money and status, and is heaven for those who have them an a living nightmare for those who don’t.

GameInformer (100/100): There so much more to appreciate about this game. Its dynamic mission structuring, remarkable sound design, wealth of side content, amazing animation, the list goes on and on. Long story short, I never thought I would see this much content in a game. Grand Theft Auto IV doesn’t just raise the bar for the storied franchise; it completely changes the landscape of gaming. Once you play it, you won’t look at video games the same way again.
