Recent Black Friday sales in the US indicated that tablets are selling faster than laptops. According to DisplaySearch research firm forecasts that a total of 21.5 million tablets will be sold in the run-up to Christmas this year. Next year, around 80 million tablets are expected to be sold in North America. In 2015, the rest of the world will catch up with America, as 276 million tablets are sold globally while 270 million laptops are shipped.
