MacBook Air Hacked In 2 Minutes

MacBook Air is the weakest compared with a Sony Vaio and a Fujitsu U810, after being hacked in just two minutes. This is a contest organized by TurningPoint, hacker Charlie Miller exploiting a weakness in Safari 3.1 cracked the MacBook Air and winning $10,000 plus the MacBook Air.

MacBook Air Looks Good But Lousy Battery Life

AnadTech has tested the claims of Apple that MacBook Air has 5 hour battery life and found it to be over exaggerated. With wireless browsing and MP3 playback, the life was 4.27 hours, but under video playback combined with heavy Web browsing and downloading, the battery expired after 2.43 hours.

Apple Unveils MacBook Air and Movie Rentals

It is no longer a rumour, Steve Jobs has unveiled the new ultra thin MacBook Air during his keynote session in MacWord 2008. The MacBook Air, is about three-quarters of an inch thick at its thickest point, small enough to fit in a manila envelope and priced at $1,799. It is thin because there is no CD/DVD drive.

Steve also revealed iTunes Movie Rentals featuring movies from all the major movie studios including 20th Century Fox, The Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Lionsgate and New Line Cinema.
