Apple update its MacBook and Mac Mini. The updated MacBook has durable polycarbonate unibody design, LED-Backlit Display, Multi-Touch Trackpad & Built-in Seven-Hour Battery.

Google Ads Leak Thinner iMacs, Lighter MacBooks, Cheaper Mac Minis

Three new Google ads from the Netherlands leaked out information on the refresh of Apple’s iMac, Macbook and Mac Mini range.
The ads are:
- “Apple’s Newest MacBook. Thinner, lighter and faster! Free delivery. Order today,”
- “The Brand new iMac. Ultra Thin 20 & 24 inch models. From only €1099. Apple Store,” and
- “Apple’s New Mac mini. Faster and more affordable than ever. From only € 499. Order immediately.”
Apple’s Cheaper MacBook Coming Soon?

The latest rumour is that Apple will soon be releasing a cheaper MacBook which will cost below $1000.
From Apple Insider, The new MacBook line will also serve as one of the final pieces in the construction of Apple’s sub-$1000 portable computing lineup, due to culminate sometime in the first quarter of 2010 with the introduction of the firm’s much-anticipated tablet device.
Apple Updates Entry Level MacBook Specs

Apple has released an upgraded version of the entry-level white MacBook, bumping memory, storage and priced it at $999.
The 13-inch white MacBook now specs up with a 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, hard drive storage increased from 120GB to 160GB in the upgrade. Memory has been upgraded to 2GB 800MHz DDR2 RAM from 2GB 600MHz.

Prediction: Apple’s 3G Enabled MacBooks

A new job listing posted by Apple shows that the company is looking to integrate 3G wireless cards into future MacBooks. Apple is seeking a Communications QA Engineer, with experience in “one or more Comms technologies ” such as “3G Wireless WAN,” to work in its Mac Hardware Group. 3G Wireless WAN technology currently is only found on Apple’s iPhone.

Apple Reveals New MacBooks

Apple have finally revealed the new MacBook range with new precision aluminum unibody enclosure, ultrathin 15-inch LED-backlit display, high-performance NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics and a new smooth glass Multi-Touch trackpad. The new glass trackpad can do Multi-Touch gestures, including swipe, pinch, rotate, and the new four-finger swipe.
On the minus, Apple has dropped the Firewire 400 and the Mini-DVI port replaced by Mini DisplayPort.

Apple MacBooks Will Use NVidia Instead Of Intel

Apple will abandoned Intel’s integrated graphics chipsets for the NVIDIA MCP79 chipset which is a single-chip solution, it has GeForce 9300/9400-class integrated GPU and HybridSLI technology. In a nutshell, Apple will safe of PCB space, faster performance and better battery life with NVidia.
Apple Put A Spotlight On New Laptops

Apple has sent out invitations (“the spotlight turns to notebooks”) for next Tuesday’s press conference to reveal their new range of laptops. The rumour of a “brick” laptop constructed from a single block of metal with no screws has been running wild recently. On the other hand we have rumours of Apple introducing price reduced MacBooks. Time will tell and we will all know on October 14.
Apple Revealed Faster MacBook, MacBook Pro

Apple revealed new MacBook and MacBook Pro notebook lines with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn processors, larger hard drives, 2GB of memory standard in most models, latest 512MB NVIDIA graphics processors and Multi-Touch trackpad. The Apple Remote control is no longer included, and must be purchased separately.
