MacWorld 2009: iWork ‘09 Revealed
Apple has revealed iWork ‘09 during MacWorld 2009 with new features added to iWork office productivity suite and a new online document sharing service at iWork.com. iWork ’09 features new versions of Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
Keynote new Magic Move feature will let users set a start and endpoint for slides and the program figures out the options for moving objects between them. Other updates are new transitions, themes and Keynote Remote. The Keynote Remote app ($1) for iPhone and iPod touch lets you control your presentation from your mobile device.
The new version of Pages also adds a dynamic outline feature for organizing writing projects. Numbers ’09 adds table categories to the spreadsheet application. Read full press release after the jump.
MacWorld 2009: New iLife ‘09 Announced
Apple has announced iLife ’09 at MacWorld 2009, which features major upgrades to iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand, and includes iDVD and an updated version of iWeb.
iPhoto ’09 builds on the ability to automatically organize photos into Events by adding Faces and Places as breakthrough new ways to easily organize and manage your photos. The software incorporates facial recognition features which identifies faces of people in the pictures you take.
iMovie ’09 expands on the revolutionary super fast movie creation introduced in iMovie ’08 by adding the depth users want through powerful easy-to-use new features such as the incredible new Precision Editor, video stabilization, advanced drag and drop, and animated travel maps. GarageBand ’09 introduces a whole new way to help you learn to play piano and guitar with 18 basic lessons and optional lessons from top artists such as Sara Bareilles, John Fogerty, Norah Jones and Sting.

Macworld 2009: New 17-Inch MacBook Pro Unveiled
We have predicted Apple will release a new 17 inch unibody Apple MacBook Pro at this year’s MacWorld. Apple has now announced the new laptop with new built-in battery that delivers 8 hours of use & 1,000 recharges.
There are now two screen options, matte or gloss. The new not accessible battery is similar to MacBook Air which save space and has a new “adaptive” recharging technology.

Macworld 2009: 17 inch Unibody Apple MacBook Pro
A new 17 inch unibody Apple MacBook Pro will most likely be shown at this year’s MacWorld. The new laptop will come with a new type of battery that last longer than the current model but which isn’t easily removable.
Will the new 17 inch MBP have both matte and gloss screen?
