Your Next Honeymoon Could Be On Mars
Millionaire space tourist Dennis Tito has a vision to send couples to Mars on a high-risk, budget-class, 501-day journey. He is part of the Inspiration Mars Mission project for America. And the planned launch is on Jan. 5, 2018.
NASA’s Curiosity Rover Touch Down Full Video
Check out the full video of NASA’s Curiosity rover touching down on Mars.
Previously, NASA’s Mars rover, Curiosity, has taken its first color photo of the Mars. Photo shows the north wall and rim of Gale Crater, a vast basin where the nuclear-powered, six-wheeled rover touched down. Looks like all is ok, check out the video.
NASA’s Mars spacecraft touched down on the red planet Mars after 8.5 months space voyage. NASA is nervous due to the new way of landing for Curiosity rover to land inside a massive crater near the equator. Curiosity rover will steer itself part of the way and the touch down aided by dangling the cables until its six wheels touch the ground.

NASA Using Social Media To Get User Interest To Mars Program
The Mars spacecraft launched last November is about to land on Mars. What methods did NASA use to get your interest?
A suspense and cinematography video titled “Seven Minutes of Terror” was posted on YouTube in June. It is done like a movie trailer.
So far the video has succeeded in getting user interest in space exploration.
NASA Launches Super-Size Mars Rover
NASA has launched into space again to research the liveability of Mars by sending the Mars Science Laboratory on an eight-month journey. One of it’s payload is Curiosity Mars Rover, the world’s biggest extraterrestrial explorer. Curiosity weights a ton and it is a mobile, nuclear-powered laboratory holding 10 scientific instruments that will sample Martian soil and rocks, analyzing them on the spot. It also comes with a drill and a stone cutting laser machine.
Venus, Mars, Saturn Triangle Formation In The Sky
Last weekend the sky greeted star gazers as three planets, Venus, Mars and Saturn, formed a triangle in the sky. The three planets formed a triangle with Saturn in the western horizon. On August 13, the moon will join these three planets and make an interesting combination.
Russians On Mars Mission Virtually
The six man team of international researchers shut themselves in a virtual spacecraft in Russia to begin a 520-day simulation of a manned mission to Mars. The mission will allow the researchers to ‘fly to Mars’ during the first 250 days, land and explore terrain for a month, and then embark on a 230 day return flight.
Obama Has Vision For Mars And Asteroids Exploration
US President Barack Obama laid out plans for an eventual manned mission to Mars and to asteroids. But he said it has to be done the smart way after being critic by Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. He also proposed a $40 million fund to boost the economy around NASA’s facilities in Florida.
Barack said: The bottom line is, nobody is more committed to manned space flight, to human exploration of space, than I am. But we’ve got to do it in a smart way.
