A new study from The Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism, has found that YouTube is emerging as a major platform for news. Viewers are increasingly looking for eyewitness videos in times of major events and natural disasters.
The study shows more than a third of the most-watched YouTube videos came from users and more than half came from news organizations.
