Sony Unveils PS4 Teaser Ahead Of XBox Announcement
Sony has unveiled a new teaser trailer for its own next-gen console, the PS4 ahead of Microsoft’s announcement of XBox Infinity. Check out the video above. The end of the video indicates more details about the new PS4 on June 10.
What we know so far about PS4:
Sony President and COO Phil Molyneux confirmed that the the PS4 will be able to stream 4K movies. A typical 4K movie download will chew up more than 100 GB of bandwidth.
Sony has indicated that the new PS4 will allow users to download all games digitally like PS Vita. And also looking at a possible subscription model for video games.
Sony did not show what the new PS4 look like in the announcement but they did show off the new DualShock 4 controller for PS4. Sony has enhanced the feel of the controller joystick and the trigger button, which provides a much tighter sense of control over in-game actions. Sony also enhanced the rumble capabilities and reduced controller latency.
New features including a touchpad, share button, headphone jack, and a lightbar for simpler, more friendly identification of players. Also included a stereo camera that can sense the depth of objects in front of it.

Sony Unveils Playstation 4
Sony has officially beat Microsoft to reveal the next generation Playstation 4 on February 20 in New York City. The new PlayStation 4 has 8 GB of RAM. This new RAM will enable the suspend/resume functionality that allows you to instantaneously start and top playing by hitting the power button. But the event did not show any photos or videos of the new console. The basic and deluxe packages are US$429 and US$529, respectively.

PlayStation 4 Revealed
Sony is not probably going to release the next gen PlayStation 4 until 2014 but we do have the features of the gaming console.
Playstation 4, codename Orbis, will feature 4K resolution, AMD chipset, 4Gb to 8Gb Ram, 6Gb flash memory, not be backwards compatible with PS3 games, games need to be registered to PlayStation Network account and 1080p at 60 fps will be the standard for all games under P4.
Sony’s PlayStation 4 Is Called Orbis
Sony is getting a holiday 2013 release for Playstation 4 but it is not going to be called that. The next Playstation will be called Orbis.
The Orbis will support 3D games and a maximum screen resolution of 4096 x 2160. The new console will not be backward compatible with PS3 and games will be locked to a single PSN account.
