Sony Unveils Playstation 4
Sony has officially beat Microsoft to reveal the next generation Playstation 4 on February 20 in New York City. The new PlayStation 4 has 8 GB of RAM. This new RAM will enable the suspend/resume functionality that allows you to instantaneously start and top playing by hitting the power button. But the event did not show any photos or videos of the new console. The basic and deluxe packages are US$429 and US$529, respectively.
These are all the other rumoured features: DVR-like recording capabilities, new dualshock controller with PlayStation Vita-style touchpad, 1.84 terflops of computing power, eight-core processors and support Blu-ray playback.

PlayStation 4 Revealed
Sony is not probably going to release the next gen PlayStation 4 until 2014 but we do have the features of the gaming console.
Playstation 4, codename Orbis, will feature 4K resolution, AMD chipset, 4Gb to 8Gb Ram, 6Gb flash memory, not be backwards compatible with PS3 games, games need to be registered to PlayStation Network account and 1080p at 60 fps will be the standard for all games under P4.
