Previously the jury decided that Samsung has ripped off Apple and Samsung will have to pay Apple $1,049,393,540.00 billion in damages. And Apple did not waste anytime in asking for the banning of 8 of Samsung devices. They are Galaxy S 4G, the Galaxy S2 AT&T, the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, the Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, the Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, the Galaxy S Showcase, the Droid Charge and the Galaxy Prevail.

Apple has now agreed to withdraw Samsung Galaxy S III Mini smartphone from its ongoing patent-infringement lawsuit against the South Korean company. Why? Because Samsung reportedly assured the court that the phone will not be sold in the U.S.

The jury found that some of Samsung’s products illegally copied features and designs of Apple’s iPhone and iPad. Jobs did say that “I am going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go to thermonuclear war on this.” wich was publish in Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs.
