Launch of Apple iPhone 4S In China Spoilt By Eggs
Apple store in Beijing, China, stopped the sale of the new iPhone 4s due to scalpers. This action prompted an irate customer to throw eggs at the glass windows, and leaving others disappointed after waiting for a number of hours.
It has been reported that migrant workers hired by scalpers in teams of 20 to 3, waited overnight in freezing temperatures outside the Apple store. In Shanghai, stores limited iPhone 4S sales to two per customer.
Apple Open Stores In Shanghai and HK
Apple opened its largest retail store in Shanghai on Nanjing Road East yesterday, and this is the third store in Shanghai. Apple opened its first store in Shanghai in Pudong New Area last June and launched another one on Huaihai Road M. in September.
Hong Kong will also welcome its first Apple retail store at the International Finance Center (IFC) mall today.
Solar Eclipse Best In Shanghai

The longest total eclipse appearing this Wednesday is expected to last about six minutes. It will pass from through cities of Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. In China the eclipse can be watched via TV, Internet and mobile phones on July 22. Broadcasting will last from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
