Microsoft Released SmartGlass App For Android And XBox 360
Microsoft has released the SmartGlass integration for Android users. The app allows user to have direct control of some console features from Google-powered gear. The Android port lets users move through the Dashboard, input text, browse the web, search for local content, and control media playback.
Microsoft also released the XBox SmartGlass. This app will be free and will essentially turn tablets, phones and PCs into a second screen for your TV and XBox 360.
Microsoft XBox SmartGlass app allow users to control and stream media content to their Xbox 360 via their handheld devices for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. This is similar to Apple’s AirPlay technology. Gamers will be able to use their iPad, iPhone and Android devices to access XBox.
Looks like Microsoft beat Nintendo to it with SmartGlass trumping the Wii U. Both has similar features but Microsoft SmartGlass can talk to more devices such as the iPad and Android phone.
The SmartGlass is not just for games, it can be used to watch movies and tv.
