NASA Z-1 Buzz Lightyear Spacesuit
NASA has completed testing on and approved a prototype new spacesuit called Z-1. The design of the suit looks similar to Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story.
The suit features increased mobility and a large suit entrance port. The suit port allow the astronaut to easily step into the suit, negating the need for an airlock by possibly attaching the suit to the side of the station. And the Z-1 also include increased radiation protection, allowing longer spacewalks than are currently feasible.
