Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Out October 29?
The commercial release of Windows 8 will be out at the end of this year on October 26. What about the Windows Phone 8? Now there is news that this phone will be out a few days after the release of Windows 8 on October 29th.
Samsung has also revealed their Windows Phone 8 recently which features dual-core Qualcomm processors and support for LTE, The Odyssey will boast a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display, while the Marco will come with a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED option. The Odyssey will also come with an 8-megapixel rear camera, while the Marco will deliver a 5-megapixel option.
Windows Phone 8 OS will have a better home screen, near-field communication support, and in-app purchases.
Microsoft Released Windows 8 To IT Pro And Developers
Microsoft has released the latest final version of Windows 8 to the IT Pro and developers. Windows 8, Visual Studio 2012 and .NET 4.5 can be downloaded from the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and TechNet. Other consumers will not be able to access the OS until October 26 when Microsoft makes the software generally available.
Microsoft will also sell the Surface tablet for a cheap price of $199 when the device launch on October 26th.
Here is a summary recap of Surface. The Microsoft Windows RT Surface tablet will be out on the same day Windows 8 will be launched. The tablet will be available in two distinct versions, running Windows RT (light version of Windows 8) and also a Windows 8 Pro version. The Surface tablet will include a version of Microsoft Office at no additional charge.

Who says Microsoft is not innovative. The big software company is taking a leaf out of Apple’s book in coming up with some well designed accessories for their upcoming Windows 8 and Surface tablet. Buy A New PC And Microsoft Will Provide Windows 8 For $15
Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 8 upgrade will be given to buyers of new Windows 7 PCs for $15. The upgrade program will run from June 2, 2012, to Jan. 31, 2013. The program only include Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate.

Windows 8 Preview Out May 31
Microsoft will soon release Windows 8 Preview tomorrow. May 31st. The software will feature Flash bundled into the Metro-based version of Internet Explorer 10. Microsoft may also release the new Windows Driver Kit 8 and the Visual Studio 2012 Release Preview.
Dell Windows 8 Tablet Leaked
Dell have several attempts to launch into the tablet arena. This leaked features of the new Dell tablet shows that the device will be using Microsoft Windows 8 OS.
Dell will launch a 10.8 inch tablet with 1366 x 768-pixel resolution and a dual-core Atom processor later this year. The device will feature a fingerprint reader, an 8 MP rear camera, a 2 MP front-facing camera, Intel graphics, 2GB of RAM and a massive 128GB solid-state drive.
Dell will also include a removable battery unlike the Apple’s iPad. The Dell tablet will have 2 batteries, a smaller battery will get between six and eight hours of battery life, while a larger one will offer between 10 and 12 hours of usage per charge. No price announcement as yet.
Microsoft Adds Multiple Monitor Support For Windows 8
Microsoft will add multiple monitor support in its upcoming Windows 8 operating system with these features: multiple monitors, including different backgrounds for each screen, control over taskbar behaviour and the ability to put Metro apps on one screen and desktop apps on another.

Microsoft Windows 8 Logo Looks Terrible
Microsoft dramatically redesigned the Windows 8 logo to make it more bland and looks like a window. Microsoft hired high-powered design consultancy Pentagram to come up with the new look. And it looks like it is waste of money. What do you think of the new Windows 8 logo?
