Apple Stop Buying Samsung Batteries For iPad, MackBook
After the very public dispute between Apple and Samsung, the iPad maker will be switching rival Samsung with another supplier for iPad and MacBook batteries. Apple is now buying batteries from Amperex Technology Limited and Tianjin Lishen Battery to power its iPads and MacBooks.
Unfortunately for Apple, Samsung still supply the A4, A5 and A6 chips which are used on the iOS devices. Adding salt to the wound, Samsung is going to increase the price of these chips by 20% next year.
