NASA’s Curiosity Rover Captured Mars Photo
NASA’s Mars rover, Curiosity, has taken its first color photo of the Mars. Photo shows the north wall and rim of Gale Crater, a vast basin where the nuclear-powered, six-wheeled rover touched down. Looks like all is ok, check out the video.
NASA’s Mars spacecraft touched down on the red planet Mars after 8.5 months space voyage. NASA is nervous due to the new way of landing for Curiosity rover to land inside a massive crater near the equator. Curiosity rover will steer itself part of the way and the touch down aided by dangling the cables until its six wheels touch the ground.
