The Bluetooth Special Interest Group said it would unveil the full details of a faster and more reliable data transfers Bluetooth 3.0 on April 21. It will speed up transfers is by utilizing Wi-Fi via an 802.11 Protocol Adaption Layer. Bluetooth 3.0 will also feature Enhanced Power Control (EPC), which will help prevent accidental device disconnections.
